Anxiety and Depression Detection and Rehabilitation in the Metaverse: A BERT-Based Recommendation System

Metaverse has emerged as one of the most advanced and prominent technologies in the healthcare sector in recent years. Metaverse provides numerous opportunities for doctors and patients to use different medical facilities using virtual environments. This paper proposes a metaverse-based recommendation system using NLP technology for patients experiencing anxiety and depression. Our proposed recommendation system uses a very advanced and effective AI model, i.e., BERT, to predict depression and anxiety. Moreover, a rule-based approach has been introduced to recommend different types of medicines, names of psychiatrists, and activities like exercise, music and movies to patients depending on their conditions.
