Characteristic Analysis and Category Recognition of Insulating Paperboard Surface Pattern Based on Image Morphology Calculation

In order to detect the types of insulating paperboard, this paper built an insulating paperboard image acquisition platform and collected 6 different types of insulating paperboard surface images. According to the differences in the surface patterns of the images, an image morphologic feature analysis method was proposed, which eliminated the image surface noise and extracted the characteristic regions of different insulating paperboard surfaces. Three feature statistics were carried out for each type of image feature area, including feature area, roundness and rotation degree. According to the statistical information of feature area, 6 kinds of insulated paperboard with different patterns could be distinguished.
