Finite Element Analysis of Slow-Wave System with Rotated Periodic Structure

Regard to the efficient analysis of the cold cavity characteristics of the space traveling wave tube slow-wave structure (SWS) with a periodic structure, this article briefly describes a rotating periodic boundary condition based on the finite element method, and developed a simulator named high frequency circuit solver (HFCS). To validate it, this article numerically simulate the staggered double grating slow-wave structure with longitudinal and angular periodicity, solve its phase shift frequency and dispersion curve, and compare with the HFSS simulation results
