A Brushless Reversed Monopolar Generator with Longitudinal Flux from Nonsalient Poles

The successful implementation of equipment new technical solutions is inextricably linked with commercial success - one of the aspects of which is the weight and dimensions. In general, there is a direct relationship between the weight, dimensions and cost of equipment. For example, dimensions determine the very possibility of placing generators in shipbuilding, aviation and some other cases. Reducing the dimensions of generators can reduce their cost, facilitate their transportation, and partly increase reliability. For the new generators with longitudinal flux, mass and outer dimensions are determined by the features of their
$3\mathrm{D}$
design. A reversed design of generator with longitudinal flux is proposed, which make it possible to more fully use the entire volume of its stator and reduce the outer dimensions. All theoretical theses are confirmed on a model using finite elements.
