Measurement and Statistics of Rain Attenuation on Terrestrial Link at 240, 270 and 300 GHz

Characteristic of rain attenuation depending on frequency is used to allocate resource of wireless communication systems and it is important factor for consideration economic feasibility of wireless network. In trend that demand for using higher frequency is increasing, the investigation of the characteristics of specific attenuation regarding higher frequency band is required. For these, we built a measurement system which can measure the rain attenuation at 240, 270 and 300 GHz, and conducted statistic analysis for collected data.
