Prescribed Performance Control with Finite-time Convergence for Air-breathing Hypersonic Vehicle Based on Extended State Observer

A finite-time convergent prescribed performance control (PPC) scheme based on extended state observer (ESO) is proposed for an air-breathing hypersonic vehicle (AHV) oriented control model with uncertainty and disturbance. Firstly, the control-oriented model is divided into velocity and altitude subsystems, and the controller is designed, respectively. In the design process, a new finite-time convergence PPC is introduced. At the same time, to improve the system's robustness, ESO is introduced to estimate and compensate for the interference and uncertainty in the control law. Finally, numerical simulation proves that the proposed control scheme can effectively improve the convergence rate of tracking errors and enhance the system's robustness.
