Research on Product Image Correlation Based on Electrodermal Signal and Electrocardiogram Signal

Emotional design of products based on physiological signals has become an entry point for product innovation and design because of its ability to capture implicit needs more objectively and clarify internal emotional change mechanisms., but the degree of association between physiological signal processing techniques and product imagery value mapping has not been widely studied. Based on this., this paper verifies the effectiveness of different pre-processing methods and feature extraction dimensions in relation to products by using electrodermal (EDA) and electrocardiographic (ECG) signals., and the experimental results show that ECG is more sensitive to pre-processing methods than EDA., and the non-linear features of ECG are more relevant to the emotional imagery of products. This leads to the conclusion that different processing techniques should be chosen for different products and target groups.
