Radar Target Characteristic Planning and Design Based on Extension of Scattering Center Forward Model

To meet the requirements of radar target characteristic planning and feature signal control and optimization design, we investigate the scattering characteristics of dielectric coated electrically large targets using scattering center forward model extension. The impedance target is chosen as the modeling object. The forward model established in this paper has a clear physical mechanism, enabling the establishment of a mapping between the scattering center and each component or structure of the sample target, which facilitates optimal design and operation. The research provides a low-cost technology for characteristic planning and rapid prediction of target radar characteristics in realistic complex environments, supporting practical applications such as target detection and recognition, target remote sensing, and more.
