A Compact Self-diplexing Antenna Based on Air-Filled Folded SIW

In this paper, a new design of compact self-diplexing antenna based on Air-Filled folded SIW is presented. The model is composed of two rings with a central angle of 30° and 60° air-filled folded substrate integrated waveguide (AFFSIW) cavities, which is folded to achieve miniaturization. The air filled cavity is applied to reduce energy loss. The two operating frequencies (S11<-10dB, S22<-10dB) of this self-diplexing antenna are 10.32 GHz -10.48GHz and 11.94 GHz - 12.34 GHz with the maximum gain of 6.64 dB and 6.48 dB respectively. It can be used in wireless communication scenarios such as short-range wireless communication.
