Internal matching ultra-wideband power amplifier based on harmonic control

In order to solve the heat consumption problem of power amplifier (PA), based on the theory of continuous B/J mode, this paper proposes and designs an internal matching PA with elliptical low-pass matching network. This structure increases the attenuation poles of the fundamental wave and harmonic transition band, and the final PA size is only 22.8mm × 24.5mm, with an ultra-wide band of 0.6-2.5GHz, and achieved an efficiency of 61% - 80.2% in the band, with a maximum output power of 42.7dBm.
