Patient Monitoring Using Wearable Motion Sensor System

The challenges of continuously monitoring patient's movements in hospitals have prompted the exploration of monitoring technologies that offer adaptable solutions for patient care. In recent years, IoT-based monitoring systems have emerged as a promising approach for detecting patient movement beyond predefined limits and alerting healthcare providers in real-time. However, existing IoT solutions face privacy intrusion concerns. This paper proposes a monitoring system that utilizes sensors and IoT technology to mitigate the risks associated with patient movement while maintaining patient privacy. This paper discusses the design and implementation of the proposed system, assesses the system's effectiveness, and highlights the potential benefits to healthcare providers and patients.
