Feedback-Enhanced Data Broker Routing Protocol for Multi-hop Blockchain Radio Access Network

Data Broker, a multi-hop routing protocol, was previously proposed for mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) in the framework of blockchain radio access network (B-RAN). In this work, we augment Data Broker by integrating a feedback mechanism, with the aim of resolving the free-riding problem and elevating routing efficiency. The newly introduced feedback can provide additional information and help the nodes adapt their routing strategies accordingly toward a superior network performance. We further model the proposed scheme via a Markov decision process (MDP), thereby determining a proper routing configuration. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method can improve the routing performance in terms of both latency and loss rate.
