4D Visualization of Aircraft Wake Based on Godot

The vortices formed at the wingtips of an aircraft operating at high speed can pose a significant threat to the following aircraft. To visualize and track aircraft wake and realize the dynamic adjustment of aircraft wake interval, a 4D virtual simulation system of wake based on Godot 3D engine was designed by simplifying the aerodynamic wake vortex dissipation model. The environment scene is constructed by using modeling tools, and the real-time visualization method of aircraft wake evolution is established with the aircraft operation and meteorological parameters as input. Finally, the construction framework of the aircraft wake 4D simulation platform is given. The simulation results show that the given construction method can quickly simulate the 4D evolution of the wake in different scenarios, which is helpful to assist the controller in making decisions and is of great significance for reducing aircraft wake encounters.
