Closed Loop Control of Induction Motor Using Hall Effect Speed Sensors

This research study presents a Closed loop control of three phase induction motor using hall effect speed sensors. The control of the motor is designed by controlling the both magnitude and phase angle of the current. The field control drive originates the current component and torque references given to the drive. The implemented FOC in induction motors is to develop high-performance applications, operate smoothly at full speed, and produce the entire amount of torque at zero speed. This paper uses current control and voltage control loops and also used d-q theory. The results were simulated in MATLAB/SIMULINK software.
