A Keyhole-Shaped Wearable Wideband Antenna with Partial Ground Plane for ISM, WiMAX & WLAN Applications

A keyhole-shaped wearable antenna is proposed. The dimension of the antenna is
$50\times 35\times 1.59\ \text{mm}^{3}$
and Jeans cloth serves as the substrate with a dielectric constant,
$\varepsilon_{\mathrm{r}}=2$
. It covers 1.99-5.42 GHz frequency bands for
$(\mathrm{S}_{11}\leq-10\ \text{dB})$
. The antenna satisfies the unlicensed ISM band (2.40-2.48 GHz), WiMAX (3.2-3.85 GHz), fixed-mobile (4.45-5.15 GHz) & WLAN (5.15-5.35 GHz) application bands. Simulation is carried out on Ansys HFSS software.
