Research on Position-free HIL Control of high speed permanent magnet synchronous Motor based on FPGA

Electric drive system, as one of the three components of new energy vehicles, provides power for new energy vehicles. Traditional Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) vector control system uses a high speed Digital Signal Processer (DSP) as the main control chip. However, it is serial operation, the processing speed is slow and not suitable for the control of high speed motor, and the expansion performance of DSP is relatively poor. Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) adopts parallel computing and processing mode with high throughput, which has obvious advantages in control of high-speed motors. At present, most motors still use position sensors to obtain the rotor position, but as the speed increases, the accuracy of the sensor is a problem, so no position control can improve the control accuracy. In order to study the control of FPGA under high speed, Hardware In the Loop (HIL) test platform is generally used to simulate various working conditions.
