Research on Optimal Scheduling of Multi-source Power System with Complementary Hydro and Photovoltaic Generation

Renewable energy power generation is not only conducive to environmental protection, but also improves the system’s overall economic benefit. Therefore, the new-type power system has attracted increasing attention and research. This paper proposes an economic optimal scheduling of a cascade hydro-photovoltaic hybrid generation system. Case study proves the effectiveness of the proposed model and explains the influence of hydro photovoltaic (PV) complementary on the stability, safety and economic benefit of power grid operation.
