A Novel DC Leakage Current Sensing Method for Low-voltage Parallel Low-Voltage AC-DC Hybrid Distribution Networks

In this paper, a novel dc leakage current sensing method for low-voltage parallel low-voltage ac-dc hybrid distribution networks is proposed, which uses the differential sample method to directly measure the currents in the inverter dc side and rectifier dc side, and then judge the error to determine whether the leakage current fault occurred. A detailed experimental platform was built to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. The experimental results indicate that the proposed method can accurately measure the leakage current under different operation conditions, and efficiently detected the leakage current fault within 250ms.
