Design and implementation of an air-floating type vehicle for the transport of very large spacecraft

In this paper, a new type of cascaded intelligent air-floating type vehicle is designed to solve the problems of in situ rotation and transfer of super large spacecraft, such as Tianhe No.1 core module of the space station and Wentian lab module. Firstly, the structure design, system composition and overall layout of the cascaded air-floating type vehicle are introduced in detail. Secondly, the working mode and control system of the transfer vehicle are introduced. Finally, the cascade control method of the air-floating type vehicle is introduced. The gas-driven self-moving function and multiplatform cascade control method are applied to transport large spacecraft. It solves the difficulties of in situ rotation and transport of spacecraft with different sizes, specifications and loads. It realizes the universality, modularity and intelligence of the process equipment, and improves the utilization rate of the process equipment.
