Multi-aggregation of areas under stability constraints using the PV partition method

The integration of large-scale photovoltaic (PV) systems into the power grid introduces the risk of stability instability due to their inherent volatility and randomness. Enhancing the stability of PV plants requires a rational division of PV regions. However, existing studies often focus on static constraints of PV plants and lack quantitative analysis of stability. In this paper, we propose a novel approach based on a PV aggregation model to address these limitations and extract stability analysis indices from the PV plant network topology and determine the regional division of multi-aggregation nodes for PV integration by comparing transmission line distances. To validate the effectiveness of the method, a system comprising 40 PV installations is used as a case study. The results demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed approach in enhancing stability and facilitating the integration of PV systems into the power grid.
