A Distribution Network Loss Reduction Strategy Based on Seamless Closed-Loop Load Transfer Devices

Seamless closed-loop load transfer devices(SLTD) itself is used to ensure power supply, but it actually has potential applications in reducing network loss by appropriately transferring load. Aiming at distribution network loss attributable to the mismatching between the output of distributed new energy power supply and the electricity demand of load, a distribution network loss reduction strategy based on SLTD is proposed in this paper. Initially, the loss reduction mechanism is explained and a mathematical model is built. Secondly, a method for optimizing target preprocessing is proposed to reduce the dimensionality of the target data, after which sparrow search algorithm(SSA) is adopted for solution seeking. Finally, a regional distribution network in an urban of China is used as an example to demonstrate the availability of the proposed strategy. Moreover, this strategy shows the potential value of the current stock assets of distribution network.
