Simulation Analysis of Lightning Performance of 6kV Distribution Line

In order to improve the lightning performance of the 6kV distribution line, the design needs to combine the characteristics of lightning activities of the area where the distribution line is located to carry out the simulation calculation analysis of the lightning performance of 6kV distribution line, the lightning trip-out model constructed by integrating the lightning ground density distribution along the line and line tower design parameters, etc. This paper combines the ground flash monitoring data from 2012 to 2021 of the lightning positioning system in the area where a 6kV distribution line is located, conducts lightning parameter statistics for the 6kV line corridor, simulates and studies the lightning performance under different design conditions, obtains the lightning performance characteristics and key influencing factors of the 6kV distribution line, and integrates the optimal design method to improve the lightning withstand level and limit the lightning trip-out rate of the 6kV distribution line.
