A Cascade Type Bandpass Filter Based on Spoof Surface Plasmon Polariton

This paper presents a bandpass filter designed by spoofing surface plasmon polariton excitation elements. An SSPP cell was designed, and suitable data were found to achieve the dispersion characteristics of the cell structure. The results of different frequencies are achieved by the Barron structure and the SSPP structure. The structure can achieve the physical characteristics of the filter with fewer cells. Therefore, a broadband bandpass filter with controllable frequency can be obtained by design debugging. The designed BPF simulation results are good, and the filtering effect is in the frequency range of 2–8 GHz.
