Dual-Band Coding Metasurface Design Based on Transmission and Reflection

In this paper, a metasurface that can work at different frequencies is proposed. The proposed metasurface has good transmission performance at 9.5GHz-10.5GHz, and the transmission amplitude more than 0.4. At 25GHz-30GHz the reflection amplitude is maintained above 0.8 and at 28GHz it reaches 0.95. Metasurface element shows excellent transmission and reflection properties. In order to realize the function of metasurface array, the different phases of the elements are arranged in the code. Arraying metasurface elements can realize transmission focusing functions in the low frequency and reflected beam splitting in the high frequency. The array achieves good working performance. It has potential applications in imaging and communication systems.
