Broadband RCS Reduction of Dihedral Corner Exploiting Bistatic RCS Reduction Surface

Broadband RCS reduction of dihedral corner is designed exploiting broadband RCS reduction surface with better bistatic RCS reduction. The designed PCMs can maintain high polarization conversion rate in wide frequency band. The PCM and its mirror PCM are employed to design broadband monostatic RCS reduction surface and the bistatic RCS reduction is improved by arranging these PCMs in different locations. Based on the designed bistatic RCS reduction surface, broadband RCS reduction of dihedral corner is further proposed. The designed RCS reduction surface can realize 10dB bistatic RCS reduction ranging from 12 to 24GHz (67% relative bandwidth). Based on the designed RCS reduction surface, the designed dihedral can basically realize 10dB bistatic RCS reduction ranging from 12 to 26.5 GHz (72% relative bandwidth). The designed bistatic RCS reduction surface is more applicable for RCS reduction design of complex targets.
