Design and Optimization of Radar Low Scattering Objects

A Low Scattering Object (LSO) design and optimization method based on NURBS curves is proposed. NURBS curves can be fitted to arbitrary curves with different parameters, and can be extended for parametric object design; A surrogate model is constructed to replace the real electromagnetic scattering model to realize rapid prediction and optimization of Radar Cross Section (RCS). This method achieved a reduction of 13.83dBsm in the P-band for a given object.
