Multi-objective design optimization of loading flange plate of megawatt wind turbine based on response surface method

Taking the loading flange plate (LFP) of 2MW wind turbine test platform as the research object. LFP fitted the 5-DOF load of the parallel hydraulic system and acted together with the axial torque supplied by the driving motor on the fan spindle to complete the loading test. The overall performance of LFP has great influence on the loading test. This paper adopts response surface method based on multi-objective driven optimization algorithm to optimize the design of LFP. SolidWorks was used for structural design of LFP. Workbench was used for statics analysis of LFP, and the optimization variables and their boundary conditions were determined. Taking the maximum equivalent stress (MES), maximum equivalent elastic strain (MEES), maximum total deformation (MTD), and mass of LFP as the optimization objectives, the sensitivity analysis of each optimization parameter was carried out. The response surface models of optimization variables and optimization objectives was established, and the optimal design point was selected from the three optimal design points through comparative analysis. The results showed that the MES, MEES, MTD, and mass of LFP were reduced by 4.78%, 2.61%, 1.18% and 0.71%, respectively, which met the requirements of loading test.
