Isolation Enhancement of Fractal Structure MIMO Antenna for 5G Wearable Device Applications: Design and Analysis

. The SIMO fractal structure antenna is built after the single element rectangle shaped antenna is produced for 3.5GHz operating frequency. Using a SISO fractal structure antenna, a side by side MIMO fractal structure antenna is designed. After developing the orthogonal placement of antenna, compares the outcomes of the side by side MIMO antenna with the orthogonal MIMO antenna. A side by side MIMO antenna has a -20dB isolation, but an orthogonal MIMO antenna has a -34dB isolation. As a consequence, an orthogonal MIMO antenna's isolation is improved by -13dB. Overall, the simulation findings suggest that the orthogonal MIMO antenna provides better results, with improvements in isolation, gain, ECC and TARC. Finally, Wearable antennas are very large to be used in a current wearable on-body communication system that can be integrated into smart clothing.
