Research on the Equivalent Simulation Method of Shielding Effectiveness Based on Transfer Impedance

As electrical systems become more complex, their electromagnetic environment becomes increasingly harsh. To comply with the specified electromagnetic compatibility standards, electromagnetic shielding is required. However, the corrosion of the shield during service will lead to a decrease in its shielding effectiveness and worsen the electromagnetic environment. To ensure the electromagnetic compatibility of the system, it is essential to evaluate the shielding effectiveness degradation of the shield accurately. Therefore, this paper proposes an equivalent simulation technique based on the measured value of transfer impedance, which can simulate the degradation of the shielding effectiveness.
