Prospective Implementation of Telecommunication Technologies in Organization of centralized Individual Dosimetry Monitoring of Occupational Exposure of Medical Staff

The problem of implementing telecommunications technologies into the field of radiation dose monitoring in medical and industrial radiation applications is of global relevancy. Year by year, the number of equipment with generated radiation beams or radioisotope sources of ionizing radiation is raised. Accordingly, the number of personnel involved in working with radiation equipment is increasing. The need for permanent individual dosimetric control (IDC) of this category of workers requires the development of information and communication systems both within national and international monitoring missions. For this, it is necessary to develop the structure of such a system in accordance with the requirements of international regulatory documents in field of radiation safety. The issues of improving centralized individual dosimetry monitoring due to implementation telecommunication data transmission system are considered. Structure of system for centralized dose data processing for medical staff and original Database IDAIS are proposed for improvement IDC data collection, analysis and transfer.
