The Wavelia#2 Microwave Breast Imaging scanner: experimental performance analysis towards clinical investigation

In this paper, the methodology for experimental testing and validation of the 2
^nd
prototype of the Wavelia Microwave Breast Imaging (MBI) scanner, towards acceptance at clinical investigation site, is presented. The notion of measurement repeatability assessment in MBI imaging is critically introduced for the first time, as part of this analysis. Indicative imaging results are presented and briefly discussed.
