High Efficiency and Dual-Band RF Rectifier Circuit for Energy Harvesting Systems

This work presents a dual band, high efficiency RF rectifier circuit using dual section microstrip lines as the matching circuit. This dual band rectifier operates at two different frequencies, 0.915GHz and 2.45GHz. Several input powers are applied to the input of this rectifier to confirm that it is suitable for energy harvesting systems. The results indicate that at 0.915 GHz and 2.45 GHz, the power conversion efficiency is 77.3% and 80.2%, respectively, with 15 dBm input power. According to the simulation results, the dual-band RF rectifier circuit has the advantages of being dual-band and highly efficient.
