Path Loss From the Perspective of Electromagnetic Information Theory

Electromagnetic information theory (EMIT) receives an extensive research and attention in recent years. It provides a new perspective for the basic research of wireless communication by combining electromagnetic algorithm and information theory limit. In this paper, path loss, a key wireless communication parameter, is presented from the perspective of electromagnetic information theory by means of the mode analysis method of dyadic Green's function and capacity-based information theory. This study fills the theoretical gaps of the EMIT in the existing work.
