Time Delay Control Method of Optical Fiber Communication Network Based on Differential Evolution Algorithm

With the continuous expansion of optical fiber communication network scale, rapid growth of capacity and increasingly rich services, it has become a major challenge for the future optical communication network to seek a new high-speed and large-capacity optical transmission mechanism. How to effectively reduce the time delay in optical fiber communication network has become a major problem in developing long-distance multi-channel optical fiber communication network. In this paper, the delay control method of optical fiber communication network based on DE (Differential evolution) algorithm is studied. Inspired by the initialization of fuzzy membership function of fuzzy neural network, an initialization method of uniformly distributed initial population is proposed. The initial individual can better cover the whole solution space area and improve the convergence speed of the algorithm. The research results show that the proposed method is 9.36% better than the literature algorithm in delay control. It is proved that the method in this paper improves the utilization rate of optical fiber data, and is an efficient time delay control method for long-distance multi-channel optical fiber communication network.
