Microstrip Antenna Based on Fractal Structure

With the rapid development of communication technology, people increasingly need compact and efficient antennas that can operate at multiple frequencies. However, traditional antenna design methods, such as miniaturization and ultra wideband technology, are often insufficient in meeting the comprehensive requirements of modern communication systems. To address this issue, fractal based antenna design has become a promising solution. This article reviews the research progress of microstrip antennas based on fractal structures in recent years. The simulation results of various fractal based dual frequency microstrip antenna designs were presented, and analysis was conducted from antenna gain, radiation pattern, and other aspects.
