Design Analysis and Power Extension of Asymmetrical Fly-Back DC/DC Converter along with ZVS

With the intervene there is reduction in conventional energy resources in automobile industries due to its slender availability. Therefore, to cope with this situation Electric Vehicles are being used. This paper focuses on the power extension of Fly-Buck converter. This converter eliminates usage of peculiar DC/DC converters which are used for offbeat power lines. The Fly-Buck topology bids conglomerate power lines from single input and produces a tightly regulated power output. Fly-Buck converter with ZVS implementation has also been focused to reduce voltage stress across switches and provides gratification of using lower rating switches and reducing cost. Being an isolated converter, it adds gratification regarding safety with the dangerously high voltage which is present on the input side of converter and if fault occurs on input side, it is not transferred to secondary side. This paper finds offbeat applications in Medical Equipment, EV AUX lines as well as solar PV panels.
