Application of narrowband optical filtering of Doppler signals in aerodynamic experiments

The method of signal filtering in laser Doppler anemometers to optimize the performance of the silicon photomultiplier as a photodetector is considered. A method of suppression of background scattering and elimination of the mutual influence of complementary LDA signals based on the use of monochromatic sources of optical radiation with close wavelength values and narrow-band optical filters is proposed. The possibility of implementing the proposed method of optical filtering of signals in three-component laser Doppler anemometers using modern semiconductor laser diodes and silicon photomultipliers is shown.
