Off-Band Harmonics Mitigation Techniques to Reduce Radiated EMI for a Dipole Antenna

Off-band harmonics leading to increased interference problems and performance degradation among radiating elements in a system or with other systems in an electromagnetic polluted environment must be reduced. Here, the response of a printed dipole antenna is determined in terms of its input impedance, reflection coefficient, gain, and radiation pattern. The dipole antenna is designed on a 30 mil RT Duroid substrate and simulations are carried out using CST Microwave Studio.
