Optimal Configuration Strategy of APF in Micro-grid under Dual-carbon Target

The harmonic control equipment represented by active power filters (APF) is mostly configured in the vicinity of the harmonic source in a local governance manner, and compensates for the local harmonic source. With the large-scale integration of power electronic devices and the continuous increase in the number of harmonic sources, this configuration method has encountered problems such as high cost and low efficiency. Therefore, this article proposes an APF optimization configuration strategy based on the concept of partition governance. Firstly, the harmonic sensitivity and harmonic coupling indicators that characterize the interrelationships between nodes were provided, and based on these indicators, the microgrid was partitioned and the connection location of harmonic control equipment was determined. Secondly, the objective function is constructed with the goal of minimizing the investment cost, with the governance results meeting national standards as constraints, and solved using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm. Finally, an IEEE33 node system was analyzed as an example, and the calculation results verified the effectiveness and economy of the proposed optimization configuration strategy.
