Forward Modeling of the Triaxial Induction Logging Instrument in Layered Anisotropic Medium

An efficient method is utilized to obtain the response of the triaxial induction logging instrument in layered anisotropic formations. This method combines the Gauss Legendre quadrature method with the continued fraction summation algorithm to determine the magnetic fields. A series of experiments are conducted to verify the accuracy and stability of this approach. By comparing the convergence of this approach with a conventional approach in the calculation process, the efficiency of the scheme is verified. In addition, the accuracy of this scheme is verified by simulating the responses in the five-layer medium model. The experimental results demonstrate that the approach not only converges faster than the traditional direct summation method, but also accurately obtains the measurements of the logging instrument in anisotropic formations.
