Classification of Nonlinear Fourier Transform Symbols Based on Symmetry Property

In this work, it’s revealed that the symmetry property in M-QAM constellation reduces Nonlinear Fourier transform symbol classes, which simplifies the transmitter and receiver design. An algorithm is proposed to find the related symbol classes.
