Research of Rail Impact of Escalator Based on Residual Peak Envelope Method

The escalator equipment is running in a high-load and high-intensity state for a long time, which is prone to various irreversible wear. It may cause disaster accidents or huge economic losses without effective maintenance. In response to the maintenance of escalator equipment, technical methods, such as signal processing, vibration analysis and fault diagnosis, are applied to carry out the research on the decline and damage identification. Wireless acceleration sensors and residual peak envelope method (RPEM) are proposed to analyze the impact of the escalator rail, which provides support for the preventive maintenance of the escalator rail.
