Channel Capacity of the MIMO System under the Action of a Complex of Noises and Correlated Channel Coefficients with Channel Mutual Coupling

The channel capacity of a MIMO information transmission system is analyzed under the action of a complex of thermal, phase and flicker noises. The presence of noise with long-term correlation increases the error in estimating the channel coefficients and reduces the channel capacity. The small distance between the antennas leads to the correlation of the channel coefficients, as well as the spatial correlation of the noise. The joint influence of all the listed factors on the channel capacity of a MIMO information transmission system is investigated. It has been established that there is an optimal interelement distance at which the channel capacity is maximum. It has also been found that the channel capacity decreases as the Hurst exponent increases.
