Experimental and Simulation Analysis of Race-Car Engines - Ford Cortina 1962 & Toyota G16E

Engine simulation is an analytical technique for simulating and analyzing the behaviors of internal combustion engines. The main objectives are power gain and reduction of thermal expel in the engine. The main subjects that are considered here are fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and combustion, to predict engine performance. The simulation results provide information on Engine power output in Kilo Watt, Efficiency in percentage allowing engineers to optimize engine design and to increase the performance that changes the way of manufacturing. Engine simulation is a safe and reliable approach to evaluating engine performance. The simulation is done, and the results are calculated for engines namely, Ford Cortina Engine 1962 and Toyota G16E Engine. The software used was Dat4T, EngMod4T, and Post4T. The performance graphs and Thermal graphs before modifications for both engines were observed and the results after modifications were improved by an average of 15%.
