An Improved Dragonfly Algorithm tuned Optimizer for Improving Stability of Multimachine system

Power system stabilizers are mainly implemented in power system to overcome the unwanted low frequency oscillations. The generating system undergoes an unstable oscillating condition due to the sudden changes in terminal voltage, load, active power, reactive power and frequency. These oscillations must be damped as earlier as possible and it can be damped by using PSS. The damping performance and analysis of stability in the system for the proposed improved dragonfly algorithm is compared with conventional dragonfly algorithm and PSO algorithm under different operating conditions.
