Automatic Vehicle Overload Detection and Ignition Control System

The aim of the present study is to prevent damage to vehicles caused by overloading, which can negatively affect the truck's stability, performance, infrastructure, suspension system, steering, and fuel efficiency, as well as have an economic impact. To improve the screening and enforcement of overloading, new technologies are being developed. Overloading is a significant issue in many developing countries, such as India, and is often accompanied by accidents and damage to road infrastructure. Weighing stations have been proposed as a solution, but they are not widely available in India, where it is necessary to measure the weight of certain vehicles. To address this issue, this paper proposes a solution that integrates an automated engine lock system with a load sensor model for monitoring vehicle loading. The suggested method will enable automatic monitoring of the load, detect overloaded vehicles, and alert the driver promptly. Additionally, the device aids in controlling vehicle ignition with regard to loading.
