Design and Implementation of a Low-Cost Arduino Based Line Follower Gardener Robot

Gardening is the only way to address the current global heat imbalance and oxygen shortage. On the other hand, agriculture has gradually changed in every country in terms of low-cost technological advancement and has been transformed into garden or greenhouse tourism. Due to daily busyness or inability to manage leisure time, watering the garden at the right time becomes impossible. As a result, the garden's upkeep is disrupted, and natural and financial losses must be accepted. A tiny garden was used to test the robot at first. During operation, the robot comes to a complete stop at a specific point, the instantaneous pump is turned on for a set amount of time, and a set amount of water or pesticide is delivered to the plant from its reservoir. Equipped with sensors, the robot operates an Arduino and connects the pump to the Arduino to receive water supply messages from the reservoir. The Robot will follow the chosen course around the perimeter of the garden until it reaches the appropriate location. When the water supply has run out, the robot returns to its original place and awaits the next command. The projected Arduino-based line follower gardener robot (ABLFGR) could be used for unmanned gardening and agriculture upkeep in the future.
