Methods of Comparison of Code Combinations with Message Elements from the Source

This article presents an algorithm for finding a way to number the elements of the original message, which allows minimizing additional distortions that occur due to errors in a discrete channel. The algorithm consists in finding a way to compare the distortion matrix of the elements of the original signal resulting from the action of various errors in a discrete channel with the matrix of code distances constructed for any primary coding method. A constructive mechanism for estimating the minimum and maximum values of the additional distortions of the elements of the original signal is proposed, based on the displacement of rows and columns, due to which the significant zones for which the calculation of the magnitude of the distortions are calculated fall, respectively, with the numbers having the smallest or largest values.
