Development of a Stand for Research the Eurobalise Communication Protocol of the ETCS System at the Physical Layer

This paper investigates the implementation of the Eurobalise communication protocol at the physical layer, which complies with the “SUBSET-036: Specification for Eurobalises” standard from the European Union Agency for Railways. In the course of work, in order to debug the methods for parsing Eurobalise information messages, a stand was developed for analyzing and verifying the algorithms for the operation of the subsystem for precise positioning of the railway rolling stock traffic safety system, and software was also developed for reading data from Balise and streaming the received data to a personal computer.
