A Method for Power Planning to Ensure the Complete Operation of Outdoor Window-Cleaning Robots

The window cleaning robot is an intelligent device that can automatically clean glass surfaces, which has the advantages of saving labor, improving efficiency, and ensuring safety. However, due to the complexity and diversity of glass surfaces, how to complete the window cleaning task based on the maximum remaining power and return safely is still a challenging issue while ensuring the safe operation of the window cleaning robot. This paper analyzes the problem of automatic return path planning for the window cleaning robot from three aspects: the principle of power detection, path planning algorithm, and low power return strategy. A corresponding solution is proposed, which aims to keep the window cleaning robot in a low-power state when it reaches the charging station.
